Important information about Camping Les Ripettes:-

The following information is given in good faith but is not an exhaustive list of French legal requirements,
or requirements specific to Camping les Ripettes.

Only green toilet chemical may be used.
Blue chemical poisons the on site sewage system, causes smells and puts formaldehyde into the ground water.

It is an offence, with a €1000 fine, to leave a dog unattended in a car.

It is obligatory to wear a reflective jacket when cycling at night in the country.
This applies to pedal cycles and electric cycles.

If you ride an electric bicycle you must wear a safety helmet.

It is obligatory to carry a warning triangle in your car plus a reflective yellow jacket for each occupant.
These jackets have to be stored in the car and not in the boot.

Note there is a lower alcohol limit in France which equates to a standard glass of wine.

Please note French law prohibits swimming shorts in public pools. Goodness knows why.

There is a hefty fine, payable on the spot, if you are caught driving your car and do not have driving licence and insurance documents to hand.
