Pont de Vaux is the nearest town
(4km) to Les Ripettes and has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a picturesque marina
with numerous pleasure boats. Cruises (with and without meals) are available along the canal and the river Saone.

Another unusual attraction of Pont de Vaux is the annual 12 hour quad race which takes place at the end of August each year.
