WHAT'S NEW
27 Jan 2006
After many years of complaints to EDF about the erratic supply voltage we finally have contractors on site uprating the supply.
For the technically minded EDF are installing a new 250 kVA transformer which will be located on site.
There will be a new 20kV underground supply cable and this has involved digging the roadside right back to the junction with the D2
This transformer will serve the campsite and five houses in the area.

The sanitaires on the new section of the campsite have been refurbished and now have easier access,
washing up facilities and a chemical loo disposal point.
Please note only biodegrabale toilet chemicals (green) are allowed
With an eye on the environment we have installed a recycling point. Recycle bins and rubbish
bins are conveniently located near to reception but well hidden from view by rustic fencing.
We like to move with the times so you can now use our wifi zone to check your emails etc
Be sure to bring your log on id and password for free access to our wifi hot spot
For 2007 we are organising wine tasting evenings as well as a chance to try a selection of local delicacies
you might not otherwise choose to eat
We have built a road to the caravan storage area so it is easier to move caravans at the start and end of season
There is a new access pathway to the ball play area.

We now have a new supermarket at Saint Benigne
ATAC has opened a large store just 2km from the site, there is lots of parking, a petrol station and the supermarket
is also open at lunchtime. Right opposite is the Vetinary clinic for pets needing to visit prior to returning to UK.
Briconautes has also moved onto the same estate and a offers a wide range of DIY products.
We have not neglected the campsite. The area around the pool has been slabbed. New trees have been planted,
two new electrical points have been installed and the roads have been widened.
