The Golf de Montal starts gently , in a rich alluvial plain, near a Renaissance Château which gives the course its name. It then climbs very progressively on the northern slope of the Césarines, a vast chalk plateau bounded by high cliffs. Its fairways on terraces offer some magnificent panoramic views of the nearby villages and Châteaux. The numerous bunkers and the multi-level greens reinforce the golfing interest of the site. The players, members or visitors, benefit from the comfort of a new Club-house, a practice range with ten positions, a putting-green and an approach green.
