Nitrogen produced at low pressure from an external source of compressed air and at room temperature eliminates the risks relating to high pressure gas bottle use and
the handling of liquid nitrogen for these applications :

  • LCMS/MS

  • ELSD

  • SOLVENT EVAPORATION

MEMBRANE SEPARATION FUNCTIONNING

Compressed air is forced through a hollow fibre membrane, with selective permeation of the different
components - nitrogen, oxygen, CO2, water vapour and traces of rare gases - depending on the rate of
diffusion. The rate of diffusion of nitrogen through the membrane is slower than the other components, which thus flow outside of the fibre membrane, leaving just nitrogen inside; this is then discharged subsequently, ready for use.

§     Purity : 99.5% @ 7 bar

§     Air inlet flow require : 5 to 13 bar (see table)

§     No internal compressor : need to be connected to an existing clean and dry compressed air network
