You wish to spend pleasant holidays in the valley of Guisane, more known under the name of valley of SERRE CHEVALIER. We are happy of being able to send the description of the studio to you by hoping that you will find responses to your waiting.

We propose to you the hiring of a studio for 4 people in a chalet in the mountain.

THE VILLAGE

The LAUZET (altitude 1700 m) is located in the valley of Guisane, also called valley of Serre Chevalier, well-known of the skiers. The valley is very sunny. (300 days of sun per year). The fresh air of the mountains and particularly of this valley is beneficial to the people likely to suffer from asthma or more generally sensitive of the respiratory tracts.

The LAUZET is the first village in bottom of the collar of Lautaret. It is an authentic mountain's village with 32 permanent inhabitants. For this reason, it corresponds to a way of living specific to the mountaineers and all those which seek this way of living. The distance of the Trunk road 91 ensures you calm and peace. It is the ideal place for the children. The pleasure of nature is at your door. The chalet is built at the edge of the park of the Ecrins cases on the village "les prés communaux du Lauzet". Since the lounge, it is not rare to see a herd of chamois and to be refreshed especially in spring and until the end of June.

ACTIVITIES

Excursions :

- The col of Lautaret by the Madeleine

- The alpe of the Lauzet that brings to the Grand Lac and to the col of the Ponsonnière.

- The "Aiguillette du Lauzet" by the via ferrata

- The lake of Combeynot by the valley of fontenil.

- The GR 54 pass in front of the chalet coming from Lautaret and in direction of Boussardes.

- This route is very attended as well by the hikers as by the moutain bikers.

All these excursions can be done at the beginning of Lauzet.

The ski :

Located on the GR. 54, the chalet gives directly on the basic ski runs of SERRE CHEVALIER 1500.

For the skiing, the station of SERRE CHEVALIER 1500 is to 5 km at the beginning of the halt of "Pré Chabert". (ESF, counters, restaurants, nursery are avaible there)

You can also make cross country skiing or alpine skiing in the Lautaret. For the initial alpine skiers, the Lautaret is ideal.

For passionates of excurtion sking, all white spaces are directly avaible : Galibier, Pic Blanc, Col d'Arsine...

Horses, Mountain bike :

Do you love horses and ponies ? Then go to the neighbor at 100 m in the village to the "Ranch du Grand Aigle". This one proposes to you tours or excursions organized such as the "Grand Lac par l'Alpe du Lauzet".

LANDSCAPE AND REGIONAL PRODUCTS

In Lauzet, you have superb panoramas on the ski runs of Monetier (Collar of Eychauda), the aglet of Lauzet, the Galibier and obviously the collar of Lautaret of an indescribable splendour.

In Boussardes, 500 m below Lauzet, you will find a breeding caprine which manufactures an excellent goat's milk cheese, the "Boussardin" as well as scraper of goat, eggs... etc. In summer, on the way of Boussardes, you will be able to buy vegetables of greenhouse, gathered under your eyes.

Also in Boussardes, we recommend "the field of the rocks", an excellent small restaurant with decoration of vaults where the pierrade amongst other things is delicious.

Without forgetting the visit of the "Jardin Alpin du Col du Lautaret".

This list of the activities is not exhaustive, but it enables you to know that although famous for its calms and its peace, the Lauzet therefore is not isolated from the activities which make the attraction of the mountain in summer and winter.
