Why collecting virgin cartridges ?
  • In France, 1,2 Million of cartridges are used each year :

- only 10 % of these cartridges are collecting and recycling

- the other 90% are mainly in the trash can with the home trash and ended incinerated or buried.

  • Collecting the empties with the intention of recycling is a citizen act which enables :

- to decrease the quantity of incinerated trash

- to save the raw materials (energy,water,oil)

Collect and transport virgin cartridges
  • The article L541-2 of the Environnement Code stipulate that each company is in charge of the
    waste disposal made and that the company has to process in satisfy requirements to the rules,
    otherwise it will have penalty.
  • It is in this context really restrictive for the companies that NEGOCI enables you to respect
    this obligation by collecting and recycling the used consumables whatever the origin (printer,fax
    etc) and this in a perfect compliance with the environmental law.
  • NEGOCI has declared to the Seine Saint Denis prefecture about its trade and brokerage activity
    of non dangerous waste under the deposit slip n°2004-03 delivered on the 25 th February 2004.
  • The quantities of transported cartridges by NEGOCI are under 500 kg NEGOCI has been
    declared to the Seine Saint Denis prefecture about its transport activity of non dangerous waste
    under the deposit slip n°2008-18 delivered on the 14 October 2008.
Recycling virgin cartridges

According to the article L541-1 of the Environment Code Law, the collected cartridges are turned
towards our grouping and gathering logistics platform, located at Garonor – Aulnay Sous Bois in
order to give its value.

  • About 150 000 printers, fax, copiers cartridges pass through our logistic platform each month.
    Once received, the virgin cartridges are sorted then cleared to the material value fields :
    - cartridges in good condition: are sent to the recyclers/manufacturers of compatible cartridges
    or turn back to the manufacturer
    - cartridges broken or non recyclables:
    Are nor incineration neither put on dumping ground
    Send to a specific treatment centre: grinding cartridges in order to extract the value materials
    (plastic,iron,aluminium) which through the process will develop into secondary raw materials
    which get into the manufacture of new products.

  • This process guarantee to the initial waste holder that each cartridge follow the most suitable
    recycling field.
