East of Hope Street tells the story of Alicia (Jade Herrera), who flees the civil war in El Salvador with her aunt and younger brother, only to find herself in the midst of the gang-war violence of East Los Angeles. Streetwise and tough, the former prostitute and addict Marie at first resists this high-minded program, but eventually discovers that it works for her.

A remote island plantation in the Philippines is run by a fascist and his squad of jackbooted soldiers. Slave ships bring in women and take out the harvest while the dictator (somehow) plans on creating a pure race. Udo Keir plays one of the soldiers who decides to kill everyone and escape the island with one of the slave girls. The subplot in which a guard is slowly killed by having a tree spider lay eggs in his neck is probably more disgusting than any disemboweling or decapitation ever could be. Not your typical "Island Women" kinda flick, in spite of the title.  Surreal jungle WIP film with midgets, spiderman and vodoo.  A real jaw dropper.

Four dangerous terrorists in mini-skirts escape from prison.then hijack a bus full of teenage girl tennis players, bust through a rich judge's front door, and lock up all the jailbait in the basement.Next, all the terrorists take off their bras and start rooting around the house like they're searching for meat in the Safeway frozen-food department. A Tom Selleck look-alike bus driver gets raped by a nekkid fat lady and forced to eat dog food. We get some lesbo el gropo. Monica throws a bimbo in a locked room with the judge and he slaps her around and knocks her unconscious and goes straight for the tacos. The lady prison warden comes by and lives about as long as it takes to pump thirty rounds of semi- automatic weapons fire through her blimp stomach. Two or three more people get raped, woman-on-woman, man-on-woman, woman-on- man.Seven dead bodies.  < Review >
